MOKWA, NIGER STATE – In the aftermath of the devastating floods that swept through Mokwa on May 29, claiming over 150 lives and displacing hundreds more, the Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS) has stepped in with life-saving support for affected families.

Nigerian Red Cross Society has inducted the Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University as the Pioneer FAFA Champion under its First Aid For All (FAFA) Campaign, marking a significant step towards building a First Aid Ready Nigeria through strategic partnerships and institutional leadership.

We launched the Zero Hunger Initiative in collaboration with the IFRC! The campaign aims to tackle hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria, where over 25 million people face food insecurity annually.
